When a pipe bursts at 2am, the next forty minutes look the same for almost everyone in Birmingham: water spreading across the floor, a phone in one hand, and a list of plumbers' numbers going to voicemail one after another. The plumber who does answer might be on a job in Tamworth. The next might not cover your postcode. By the fourth call, the ceiling is sagging.

We built this service so that one call does the ringing around for you. Tell us the problem once, and your enquiry goes to an available local engineer who covers your postcode and handles your kind of job. That is the whole idea.

What We Are, and What We Are Not

Birmingham Emergency Plumber is a connection service. We do not employ plumbers, own vans, or carry out work. The engineers who attend are independent local businesses in our partner network. Your contract for any work is with them, your quote comes from them, and your payment goes to them.

What we do is route. Enquiries are matched by postcode, job type, urgency, and availability, with gas work only ever going to Gas Safe registered engineers. We require every provider in the network to hold the qualifications and insurance relevant to the work they accept, to quote before starting, and to treat customers properly. Providers who fall short stop receiving enquiries.

How We Make Money

Providers pay us for the enquiries we pass to them. Customers never pay us anything, and the price you agree with your engineer is not marked up by us. We say this plainly because services like ours work best when everyone knows how the wheels turn: our incentive is to send providers enquiries worth taking and to send you engineers worth hiring, because the service only survives if both sides come back.
